50 lbs lost!

Hooray! Clean eating, moderation, activity, and consistency was the winning combination here!

My next goal is actually 4 lbs from here, and these last pounds have been very slow to come off to get here.

Total lbs left to lose: 60-65 lbs

Day three, aka Two-a-days

Today was day 3 of Insanity, but I also kept my regular workouts with a co-worker and did my first or one of very few two-a-days. Proud of myself! Power Cadio felt tougher to me than Plyo, but muscles may just be fatigued by now. I still recommend the program, granted 3 days in. 🙂

It’s INSANITY! (The workout)

Just started a new Beachbody workout. Day 2 (which is really the first “real” day) of Insanity with Shawn T! That was one of the best workouts of my life. Super challenging, pushes you hard, but also gives enough breaks and cool downs for someone like me to keep up with each workout. Looking forward to more!

If I could turn back time

After my mom passed away in the summer of 2010, I put on 55 lbs within a year. I’ve been working hard to right myself, become healthier, and effectively turn back time’s effects. With this morning’s weight, I’m back to my November 2010 weight and 38 lbs lost from my highest point. Thanks workout buddies over the years, and thanks friends for your support.

Holding steady

I’m holding steady within a pound each way of my last post of 35 lbs lost. I haven’t done P90x in a while, but my Japanese doctor recommended 40+ mins of walking (not running) every day and cooked veggies with every meal. They keep your blood sugar balanced and maintain a satiated feeling.

My office moved downtown a couple weeks ago, and I’m across from Gold’s Gym which I’ve gone to almost every day during lunch to get in my walking and weight training. It’s been great, I feel great, and it’s something I can maintain! Here’s to being healthy.

35 lbs lost!

Lost 4 lbs so far this week, breaking through to a weight I haven’t seen since Jan of 2011! It also marks 35 lbs lost from my highest weight. This is coming along nicely! Thanks for your constant encouragement! It really helps!

Cycling!

Got a small amount of cycling in tonight between rain showers. I’m still terrible, but at least I did it! Calories burnt is off. It expected me to be in better shape. My watch says 350 cals instead of the app’s estimation of 124 calories burnt!

I’ve lost 8 lbs or so since I logged my last post. I’ve broken through a weight barrier I’ve had since late 2011 as of this week! It’s been a good week!

I went to Seattle and Canada for work and vacation these past couple weeks, so I didn’t have p90x, but I walked my tushie off! Lost weight while I was gone. I regularly walked 3-4 miles, much of it uphill, while in Seattle! Back now, and trying to get back in the thick of it.

Even though I don’t wanna…

Man, no matter how crappy the day has made me feel, and no matter how much I REALLY don’t want to workout, I always feel loads better after making myself (and my husband) do it!

P90x legs and back today with a total of 92 pull-ups – burnt 615 cals and 28g of fat.

Then, went for a jog/walk to the mailbox and burnt another 200 cals and 10g of fat!

Oh, and I saw the cute neighborhood bunnies along the way. ^_^

Start of week 3!

Start of week three – started with Kenpo X, burnt 755 calories and 40g of fat! We took pictures measurements…and though I’ve lost no weight, I’ve lost 10.3″ total across my body!!!!!! 10.3″ lost and no weight, sounds like I’m building muscle alright! Still keeping a goal of net 800 calories per day. Some days I go over by a couple hundred calories, but if I set a tough goal like that, then when I mess up it’s not too terrible! Bring it!
